Why are the Arabs deaf to Gazan pleas?

In recent weeks, we have once again been seeing the images of destruchttp://www.themuslimtimes.org/wp-admin/edit.phption, death, smoke and fire with Palestinian residents of Gaza wandering about in the ruins of what once was their neighborhood. “Where are the Arabs?” they have asked the television cameras, aiming with two words in Arabic the blades of sharp, enraged criticism at the Arab world, which once again failed to protect Palestinians from those who harm them, mostly their Israeli neighbors.

  1. Not Arab but why Saudi Arabia in particular is so quiet with all its wealth, fire power and huge political capital at USA.

It is the same SAUDI ARABIA that was silent when US attacked Iraq under the guise of possession “weapons of mass destruction”. Remember when the slaughtering and destruction was going on George W. Bush and the Saudi King and princes were sword dance. It is them the fake people who cannot uphold the principles of Islam.

  2. It is alright to sympathize and support Palestinians for humanitarian reasons. But nobody can help them if they do not make a move themselves. They are losing land every day. Do they listen to any one? Why Palestinians do not nominate some one to represent them and come to the discussion table on honest even terms? That would end the bloodshed too.
All the Arab countries cannot defeat Israel. They had tried it (1967) and many times before but failed. So what is the use of continuing a disadvantageous war?
Islam recommends peace and talks for peace. Those Muslim countries who are inciting Hamas for more war are not their well wishers. An effort should be made by some Muslim countries to approach the Palestine government and note their genuine demands and try to see what IS POSSIBLE TO ACHIEVE.
IT APPEARS THAT Muslim COUNTRIES and organizations are helpless. They do not have any international credibility. The Arab countries are embroiled in their Arab Spring. They are fighting for their own survival and stability.
Let not any one misguide poor Palestinians into more politics. A word of advice could mean more than many bombs.
