Qadian 20th July: 

M.P Abhijeet Mukherjee son of The President of India Shri Pranab Mukherjee visited Holy Places of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community today in Qadian.

He was welcomed by Mohammad Inam Ghori Chief Secretary of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat, India in the Guest house of Promised Messiah Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadian at 11:30 A.M.

He first visited the Masjid-e-Aqsa and saw the Minaratul Masih. He climbed its first storey and viewed Qadian from there.

He also met the care taker of Masjid Aqsa Farooq Ahmad who hails from his constituency Bengal. He then visited Promised Messiah (as)’s birth place in Dar-ul-Masih.

Later he visited Bahishti Maqbra & visited the Tomb of Promised Messiah Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani (as).

At the end of his visit he said this reporter that he have many Ahmadi Muslims friends in Bengal. He said that many of Bengali men and women are married here in Qadian. Some of them had met him in Bengal and requested him to visit their Holy place in Qadian. He further told that an Ahmadi Friend had given me a book on the topic of “The World crises and the pathway to peace” which was written by Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad fifth
caliph (aba) of worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.

Aquiring Knowledge about Ahmadiyya Faith

This is what He said after reading the book:

I was very impressed with this community and so was very keen to visit Ahmadiyya Headquarters that is why today I am here to gain further knowledge about the Community.

On this occasion Syed Tanvir Ahmad, Syed Aziz Ahmad, Shiraz Ahmad, Mohammad Ismael Banday, Rafique Ahmad Baig, Hafiz Makhdoom Sharief, Zaheer Ahmad Khadim were present there.

Maulana Mohammad Inam Ghori and Mohammad Nasim Khan presented a shawl and literature of Jamaat to the distinguished guest.
