President Obama thanks Muhammad Ahmad Chaudhry for his Foundation’s work

Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya USA was honored tonight when one of it’s finest members, Muhammed A. Chaudhry of San Jose Majlis, was recognized at the White House Iftar Dinner for his non-profit work in the education sector. President of the United States Barack Obama had the following to say about our former Naib Sadr:

Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya was honored tonight when one of it’s finest members, Muhammed A. Chaudhry of Silicon Valley Majlis, was recognized at the White House Iftar Dinner for his non-profit work in the education sector. President of the United States Barack Obama had the following to say about our former Naib Sadr: “Growing up in Pakistan, Muhammed Chaudhry and his family— part of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community—were mistreated because of their beliefs. They immigrated to America, and in California Muhammed saw world-changing technologies being launched in the same neighborhoods where too many students struggle just to stay in school. Today, he runs a foundation that works with schools, parents and local IT startups to better prepare students to embrace science and math. And they’ve started turning the tables. Thanks to Muhammed’s foundation, so many of these students are now taking classes that put them on track for college. So we want to thank Muhammed for being such a great example.“ On March 4, 1889, the Promised Messiah (as) went to Ludhiana, and he issued a leaflet stating “The Community shall be a lighthouse so high as to illumine the four corners of the world. The members thereof shall serve as models of Islamic blessings. My true followers shall excel every other people.” We saw a manifestation of this blessing tonight. Alhamdulillah.
