The billing is “British Muslims Sign Historic Intra-Faith Unity Statement: Intra-Faith Unity Statement Aims to Provide Common Ground Between Muslims of All Traditions.” Tonight at an event, special guests of the Muslim Council of Britain were invited to sign the statement that calls for among other things:
“no group or individual shall use, propagate or tolerate the rhetoric of takfir (charge of unbelief) for anyone.”
“We shall respect each other and our differences”
“We shall avoid hate and condescending speech”
“attacks on these places of worship are attacks on us all,”
“We call on our Ulama from all traditions to form a positive space for reconciliation and cooperation.”
“to campaign in an inclusive, non-sectarian manner.”
“Above all, we shall emphasise areas of commonality, the virtue of compassion and empathy”
The question though that came to my mind: were the Ahmadi invited to take part? Because when I think of love for all hatred for none, pluralism and stressing non sectarianism, I think of them as the face of Islam the world needs to see more of on our TV screens. Whilst many Muslims think of them as heretics. In some states like Pakistan they are legally discriminated against, and generally terrorised by assassination or mass killing in a mosque. Not that they are allowed to call it a mosque.
In the UK on this blog I mentioned an occasion when Muslims made a local paper side with their theocratic judgment that the Ahmadi were not actually Muslims. The paper even apologised to those offended for running an advert celebrating the Ahmadi Muslims. Despite David Cameron publicly thanking them for their contribution to Britain during the celebrations.
Here was a chance for the Muslim Council of Britain to include the Ahmadi and show they really did mean this:

Nevermind, Ahmadis are happy if the non-Ahamdi Muslims learn a lesson of good behavior and unity. Allah may guide them to true Islam due to some good work. It will be interesting to see unity among some Muslims in UK. Wassalam.
The title of the opening post OP is not well understood. Could it be the following?

No Unity and Pluralism by Muslim Council of Britain – Unless Ahmadi.

Once again it is proven that the 72 sects out of 73 sects in Islam are getting togather to keep the 73rd sect which is Ahmadiyya Muslim out of the pale of Islam only to confirm the saying of the Holy Prophet of Islam that only one sect or Jamaat out of 73 will be Naji Jannati the rest will burn in hell fire.
Yes, Zafar sahib, it has proven that important Hadith about the later time Muslims who will be ditto copy of the Jews and Christians. That is: Muslims will make the same mistakes as the old time Jews and Christians, i.e.
1. They will oppose and kill the right minded, God guided innocent peaceful persons.
2. They will keep Jesus alive in heavens…
3. Drink and dance like them.
4. They will take wrong meanings of their scripture (The Quran) and will try to twist every word of the holy Quran.
5. They will stop people from getting the right message and words of peace.
The Companions of the prophet s.a.w.s. could not believe that could happen to the Ummah.
Then the prophet s.a.w.s. said “The Jews and Christians were divided into 72 sects. My Ummah will be divided into 73 sects. All sects except one will be heading for hell. Only One sect will be heading for paradise…..”
The companions then asked some sign about that good sect which will be heading for paradise….
The prophet s.a.w.s. said, “That will be the one on my path and that of my companions … ‘Maa anaa alaihe wa as-haabi’ ” They will be on what I am and on whatever my companions are… ”
Whatever the meaning, at least we can see the majority sects on one side and only One sect singled out away from the rest of the Ummah. The decision or Fatwa of the prophet Muhammad s.a.w.s. is clearly against the gathering of the maulvis in UK. They should not ignore the Fatwa of the prophet.
That one sect or Jama’at (Jama’at Ahmadiyah Muslimah, international) is observing all requirements to qualify as a Muslim Jama’at. The maulvis are misled and they are misleading the many/ young Muslims. Inna Lillah e wa innaa ilaihe rajioon!
They are not united, just pretending to be. How can they be after rejecting the Imam of times, rejecting Qur’an and Rasool SAW clear directives. I as an Ahmadi Muslim be happier not to be counted among these hypocrites.
Ahmadiyat is another diseases like wahabiyyat along with the ithna3shariyyat/jaafariyat and their brethren from the jews and christians and polytheists and atheists and secularists, in the Ummat of Islam! may Allah wash these dirts from the face of the Earth!
BuJassim we say Ameen to your heartfelt prayers. May Allah destroy the dirt of Earth- which He considers dirt in His infinite wisdom and not you. You will soon see who will be destroyed and who is victorious and becomes the real champion of Islam. Inshallah
I wonder if BuJassim has seen any book of Jama’at Ahmadiyah Muslimah or attended any lecture, Jalsah. If not then BuJassim should not pass any judgment on the Jama’at Ahmadiyah Muslimah.
The Jama’at people, the Ahmadis follow all the best directive of the Islamic faith. They are not like the Wahhabis or shias. They are more close to the sufi or saint (Aulia Allah) family/ group. Wassalam.
