The AMYA Charity Challenge

This year is the 30th anniversary of AMYA’s (Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association) Charity Challenge which has so far raised more than £1 million for charitable causes. Last year’s challenge was a 10km walk, run and cycle in Milton Keynes. More than 2,000 fundraisers attended and many more helped to raise £250,000 for the supported charities. The event supports national charities but each region also chooses their own local charity. Last year the Masroor region, based in West London, chose to support CLIC Sargent at the event. But the support didn’t stop there. The region continued to support us with bag packs for our Text Santa campaign and collections at stations and supermarkets throughout the year raising a fantastic total of over £15,000!
