The Southern California chapters of the Ahmadiyya Community will be holding their annual “Promised Messiah Day” celebration this Sunday from 11am-1pm at the Baitul Hameed Mosque in Chino at 11941 Ramona Ave.
All Muslims believe in the Second Coming of Jesus, but only one denomination believes that Second Coming has already taken place. The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community was started in 1889 by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (1835-1908) who proclaimed that he was appointed by God as the awaited Second Advent of the Promised Messiah, as well as the Imam Mahdi (Guided One).
