A happy marriage includes two whole and willing people.
By Deana Nassar Freelance Writer
If you believe that good marriages include no arguments, or that he or she will change after marriage you are wrong.
If you are looking for your ‘other half’, you are searching incorrectly. Each partner is a full person, not a half.
The Qur’an reads:
{And among His Signs is this, that He created for you mates from among yourselves, that you may dwell in tranquility with them, and He has put love and mercy between your hearts.} (30:21)
When we exchange our single life for a marriage, it is necessary for us to learn the importance of becoming a couple. Because marriages work best when couples work together, there are necessary steps to follow. It’s not about who’s in charge; it’s not about who’s wearing the pants, it’s about compromise.
