Arvind Kejriwal grows in light and shade

Source: Asia Times:

Arvind Kejriwal’s past behavior of abruptly jettisoning of his alliance with Anna raised no eyebrows. He then started a movement that metamorphosesd into the AAP. Kejriwal graduated as a mechanical engineer from one of the India’s elite schools, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), and then decided to abandon engineering in preference for the Indian Revenue Service. We do not know the full story behind Kejriwal’s decision to switch career, but he has subsequently also switched from being anti-corruption activist to serve as a full-time politician and chief minister of the nation’s capital.

  1. On one side corruption, incompetency amongst existing political elite, while on other side fiery speeches, emotional approach and style of AAP leaders fetched many votes. Until getting to power this approach was OK. However running of state affairs with competent governance is different thing. I watched AAP leaders style and performance very minutely. To me all are unfit. Grabbing of power by AAP is one time phenomenon and very soon honey moon period of the party will be over. Statesmanship and good governance are serious matters. AAP leaders do not fit in for these jobs.
