Anti-Ahmedi laws and the constitution

Source: Daily Times via Nasim Malik of Sweden.

The elderly Dr Masood, who is an Ahmedi, has now been in jail in Lahore for over 60 days for the ‘crime’ of reading the holy Quran. Meanwhile, in Rawalpindi, a young Ahmedi was shot dead by terrorists when he tried to stop them from planting a bomb on Eid-e-Miladun Nabi. What we have done to this patriotic law abiding community is going to haunt us for a long time to come.

  1. Thank you once again raising Ahmadiyya point from this angle. If Tahir Ashrafi could understand it. But it looks he does not want to understand.

  2. 1.A non-muslim goes to a bookshop and buys QURAAN and reads it at home or openly. What crime is he committing-NONE
    2. anyone can study QURAAN,NO problem. But, insulting and disrespecting obiously is not correct no matter which book of which religion it belongs to !!!!!!!!

  3. dear Sharif what appeared in MT.

rationalist.org: Masood Ahmad is 72. A British-Pakistani dual national, he returned to his native Pakistan in 1982 after working in London for some years to pay his children’s school fees. On his return, he opened a pharmacy and homeopathic clinic in the large eastern city of Lahore.

Last month, two men visited his clinic, posing as patients. They questioned him about his faith, and used their mobile phones to secretly record him reading a verse from the Qur’an.

Soon afterwards, he was arrested on charges of blasphemy.

Dr Ahmad, a quiet, reserved widower who still has family in the UK, is a member of the minority Ahmadi sect. In 1974, they were declared non-Muslims, and banned from ‘posing as Muslims’. This comes down to a theological dispute. Ahmadis believe that the Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, who founded their movement in 1889, was a prophet. This contradicts the mainstream Islamic belief that Muhammad was the final prophet of God.

  4. In the Name of Allah the Most Gracious Ever Merciful
Although Mr Zubair Khan Sahib is a very prolific writer in the Muslims Times and command a lot of respect, but sorry to say that he has misrepresented the Jama’at Ahmadiyya
First of all we believe Holy Prophet Mohammad as KhatamunNabiyyin (Seal of the Prophet) sal-lallaho alaihe wa Aalihe wa sallam.
Secondly we believe the finality of the Holy Prophet Mohammad (p.b.u.h) Not any other law barring prophet will come after him.Thirdly we believe that Hazrat Mirza Gholam Ahmad (a.s) as Imam-al-Mahdi, the Promised Messiah and sub ordinate prophet to Hazrat Mohammad (p.b.u.h) as His prophesy about him in Sahee Muslim and Mishkatul Misabee and many other Hadith books.
The Mullah and the amended constitution of Pakistan is Just playing a political drama.
The history is full with all the true prophet of Allah that that political Drama is always played with them, they have badly been persecuted by infidels, but Allah and His Messenger proved ultimately supreme.
Afghanistan history is witness that stoning to death of one innocent Saint of Qabul Syed Abdul Latif Shaheed caused the wrath of Allah on that Nation Since that time that ill fiat country could not be peaceful and Allah knows the best how long still their punishment would prolong.
Unfortunately Pakistan is treading the same footsteps and suffering with the hands of Taliban Mullah. Is there any rajl-ur-Rashid in Pakistan to take the head
    Wassalam
    Zarif Ahmad
