By the grace of Allah, under the instructions and guidance of Syedna Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V (aa), Humanity First is assisting the victims of Typhoon Haiyan in Philippines.

The Government of Philippines has assigned Roxas City to Humanity First where the team from Canada is working with Canadian D.A.R.T., UNICEF and other government agencies.

The team from Humanity First Canada is on the ground and providing clean drinking water by installing Water Filtration Units. Thousands of people have benefited from the services of Humanity First.

Humanity First is also providing shelter supplies to provide temporary accommodation. Emergency supplies will also be distributed to remote areas that are yet to be explored.

To support its relief work, Humanity First is organizing a number of fund raising events in various cities.

I urge members of Jama‘at to extend their support by attending these events and by donating generously.
