The growing influence of Wahhabism, a radical stream of Islam, on Indian Muslims and on the political scene, especially south Indian politics, can cause further communal polarisation if the state fails to uphold the secular ethos.

Wake up Indian Muslims. Do not follow footsteps of Paksitani Muslims. You are blessed to be from the birth place of promised Imam Mahdi and Messiah.
The wahhabis were much hated in India during the British rule. Even though the Wahhabis were good at keeping away from bad rituals of grave worship etc. Yet they had become involved in useless debates of mortal physical body of the prophet Muhammad s.a.w.s. against the belief of the saintly Sunni Muslims that the prophet was totally made of Noor i.e. gentle light. There was another debate of loud Ameen and no Ameen.
There were other problems too. Their HQ was in Patnah. The wahhabis did some good work but finally came down on the Promised Messiah a.s. It was the local wahhabi (Muhammad Hussain Batalavi) who wrote the Fatwa (religious edict) against the Promised Messiah a.s.
He took his edit to Dehli and got it stamped from there by the greatest wahhabi Nazir Hussain Dehlavi. Then he took that paper to all places in India for endorsement. He spread the fire of enmity (hatred) against Abraham a.s. i.e. the promised Messiah a.s.
This Wahhabi doctrine originated in Arabia with the help of some Saudi Shaikh, about three hundred years ago. Their theology is misled in many ways.
The Muslims of India should be careful and beware of the false doctrine of the Wahhabis. They are getting money from saudi Arabia to build mosques in different places. I have personally seen their paid teachers spreading wahhabism in the Gulf Emirates.
The wahhabis requested the British Government to isse some kind of order that the people do not call them Wahhabi. They suggested that they should be called Ahle Hadith. The government issued order accordingly.
Wahhabis are a disease of todays Muslims. A Messed up thinking and has no place in Islam. All they have is good funding to further their stupid thinking. I suggest all Muslims to avoid such people, dont even debate, just ignore.
Bunch of idiots with Money in their pockets filled by the British Sterling and US Dollars, trying to deceive as much Muslims away from the Sunnah as possible.
Unfortunately, as Baki asserts, they are everywhere spreading their warped beliefs using their apparent never ending stream of finances.
Most times they build mosques and madrassas – mostly in 3rd world countries where education is limited and therefore can use young minds to their way of thinking…
