Sigmar Gabriel: Leader of SPD
During the federal conference of the German Party SPD on 16. November 2013, they declared themselves to be in solidarity with the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. This is a reaction to the attack of the building site of the Ahmadiyya mosque in the City “Leipzig” in East-Germnay. The Party vehemently condemned this “islamophobic attack”. The SPD officially supports the Ahmadiyya Community and all the citizens of Leipzig to stand up for the mosque and against the right wing, hatred, racism and islamophobia in Germany.
To emphasize the solidarity Sigmar Gabriel, the leader of the SPD (political party) visited the building site of the Ahmadiyya mosque.

The Social Democratic Party of Germany (German: Sozialdemokratische Partei Deutschlands, SPD) is a social-democratic political party in Germany. The party is one of the two major contemporary political parties in Germany, along with the conservative CDU/CSU, and is led by Sigmar Gabriel.
The SPD last governed at the federal level in a grand coalition with the Christian Democratic Union and the Christian Social Union from 2005 until 27 October 2009. The SPD conceded defeat in the federal election of September 2009, with its share of votes having dropped from 34.2% to 23%, compared to 2005, and became the largest opposition party represented in the Bundestag. The party participates in thirteen state governments, of which nine are governed by SPD Minister-Presidents.
The SPD is a member party of the Party of European Socialists and the Socialist International, and was a founding member of the Progressive Alliance on 22 May 2013. The SPD is Germany’s oldest existent political party, established in 1863, in the German Parliament. It was also one of the first Marxist-influenced parties in the world.
Ahmadiya Muslim community believes in peace,love and humanity. The moto of this Jamaat is (love for all, hatred for none) .May Allah always protect this Jamaat and make their believes more stronger then ever( Ameen).
