Bringing Communities Closer in Calgary

On Friday, October, 18th 2013, women auxiliary of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Calgary, Alberta, Canada, had the opportunity to display a Book Exhibition at the Calgary Public Library in the Genesis Center from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm.

Along with the exhibition, light refreshments were served, as well as free henna designs were offered to everyone interested. Despite the short preparation time to organize this small event.

By the Grace of God, 24 people stopped by the exhibition to ask questions about the various books and the Holy Quran on display.

Fifty seven people were given the peace pamphlet combo, and about 8 “Women In Islam” booklets. Over 60 people were served light refreshments and over 45 women and young girls enjoyed free henna designs on their hands.

Thank you to Respected Murrabi sahib Nasir Mahmood Butt, and Respected Yusuf Seager sahib for their help. Also a big thank you to all the volunteers of Lajna Imaillah Calgary NE and three members from Calgary Martindale Branch for their services. May Allah the Almighty reward them abundantly for their efforts.
