Mukono Imam has cautioned Muslim couples to always consult elders or Muslim leaders for advice in case of any misunderstanding in their families.

Sheikh Saziri Lumala said Tuesady that married couples kill each other leaving orphans which exposes them to a miserable life.
Lumala asked Muslims to emulate the family of Sarah and Abraham in the Holy Quran which lived a happy life even when Sarah was not able to produce for over ninety years.
“Allah gave us the gift of marriage as a source of happiness between a woman and a man but not a fighting place and a battlefield. In case of any misunderstanding, it’s better you consult the elders or Muslim leaders,” Lumala advised.
Lumala, who is the head of Muslims at Mukono Central Mosque, made the remarks while leading the Eid Adha prayers on Tuesday.
He asked the Muslims to always nurture a giving heart if they want to gain rewards from Allah.
Lumala said that on Eid day, Allah is ready to reward those who are going to sacrifice the little they have in the interest of the poor and the disadvantaged.
“After slaughtering animals on this day, it’s advisable to save something and take it to the prisoners who cannot do the slaughtering of animals even though they want. We should also not forget our neighbours in need,” he said.
Lumala called for peace all over the country and condemned the on-going murders which involve gunmen who go on shooting dead and injuring people.
Muslims at Mukono Central Mosque slaughtered two bulls and shared the meat.
