Khidmat-e-Khalq: “Clothes to the Needy” Drive by the Jama’at-e-Ahmadiyya Shimoga (Karnataka, India)

Al’humdullilah, on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, the Khidmath-e-Khalq department of the Shimoga branch of Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya donated refurbished Clothes to the homeless and specially abled children.

On the 4th of August a team of volunteers along with Sadr Sb and Qaid Sb of the Shimoga Jamaat went to the make shift tents where the needy stayed, spoke about the community and distributed the material before going to an NGO run Happy Home Orphanage for distribution to the Children.

The members of the Shimoga Jamaat donated reusable cloths for this purpose with which at least 500 needy people were benefited, by the Grace of Allah. About 300 of them were homeless and could not afford any clothing, the Jamaat members also donated clothes to 70 specially abled children (Handicapped) who were being taken care by an NGO and to the most needy who used to rely on begging.

Similar program was conducted in February on the occasion of Platinum Jubilee of MKA, in which clothes were distributed to about 100 Poor Children.

Al’humdullilah, it was a very emotional and a successful event organized by the Jamaat which was well appreciated by all. May Allah Almighty Bless all who made this program a success and inspire all of us to keep up the good work.
