Saudi Arabia imposes 15-day limit for Umrah

 

Manama: People performing Umrah will not be allowed to stay more than 15 days in Saudi Arabia, local officials said.
The decision was attributed to the large numbers of crowds keen on spending more time in the two sacred cities of Makkah and Medina even though space has been heavily restricted by the on-going massive work.

  1. If the Saudis are collecting tax for Umrah or Hajj, they should reduce the tax (fee) for hajj and Umrah because the stay for the pilgrims has been reduced to 15 days only. The fee (Charges) should also be reduced by 50%.

    That will help the pilgrims to compensate for their spiritual loss.
