Note by the Editor. Readers of Muslim Times were keen to know what Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Germany will get with its new granted status. As intimated by office bearer of Jamaat some are tabulated below:
As reported earlier, by the grace of Allah the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Germany, the only Muslim Community, has been granted the official status of “Corporation under Public Law” with similar rights as of the Church. This special status has been granted in the German state of Hesse.
Some of the rights which can now be enjoyed by the Community:
– Right to make own internal laws.
– Right of legislative power.
– Right to get status of civil servant for Jamaat employees.
– Right to exercise organisational-power.
– Special permissions to operate own cemeteries
– Power of certification: such as to certify marriages, birth, deaths
– Right to collect contribution from their members through payroll.
-AMJ cannot be put into bankruptcy as well protection against criminal and misdemeanour matters
– Possibility to get seat in broadcasting councils
– Possibility to get official time in the state media channels
– More tax benefits
– Possibilities to get official status of Jamia. This will ease visa issues of students and their status to be accepted as a student
– In the development planning of a city the Jamaats interests to build a mosque must be considered.
– Possibility to operate a Kinder garden

Ahmadiyya Muslims will serve Germany with thier lives and love and German Nation will be rewarded by Allah.

Please, do let me know and for the knowledge of public at large that that granting such status to Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Germany has happened for the first time in the developed (European/western) world.

This is a great news Alhamdulillah. something similiar should happen in Canada & UK.
Mahmood Lone from China. Others can also contribute if they know. As per information available, in Eastern Europe only in Poland Jamaat has been registered as Muslim religious Jamaat and can act accordingly. Br Hamid Karim of Holland can testify it as he was the in charge at the time to get this registration. As for Europe is concerned probably it is only Germany where such achievement has come forward. It took many years to get this status. First Jamaat was given as Religious Entitiy (Religious Gemeindschaft) and thereafter as public corporate body. The status is granted only when a community has specific number of membership with local citizenship. AMJ membership in Hessen met the criteria so status is granted in this state. Hopefully with increase in number of Ahamdies the status will achieved in other states also.
We are extremely humbled by this blessing of Almighty Allah, who have softned the hearts of the German officials. These are the true blessings of Khilafat and following the true teachings of Islam.

Does it mean Jamat members in Hessen don’t need to go to Council for marriage registrations? Can an Ahmadi Muslim marry two women at the same time ie bigamy / polygamy? Jazakallah.
Anwar: I am just guessing: (someone from Germany would have to confirm). I think that in future Jamat members in Hessen would no longer need to go to Council for marriage, however, this will still take time as details need to be worked out, forms approved etc. As to polygamy unfortunately all other existing German laws will need to be observed …

After this blessing of Allah , Mullah particularly in UK, Germany and Pakistan these days are rotten potatoes…………lost their sleeps for jealousy……
