When Sunni and Shiite Extremists Make War

Source: The Conservative papers.

If al Qaeda fighters want to murder Hezbollah fighters and Hezbollah fighters want to return the favor, who in their right mind would want to stand in the way? . . . If one branch of Islam wants to be at war with another branch for a few years — or decades — so much the better for the non-Islamic world. Mass civilian casualties in Aleppo or Homs is their tragedy, not ours. It does not implicate us morally. And it probably benefits us strategically, not least by redirecting jihadist energies away from the West.

  1. Sad, sad, sad. When will the Muslim world start to listen to Hadhrat Mirza Mazroor Ahmad? Khalifa-tul-Masih V, who promotes peace among all nations instead of killings and murder?

  2. They will never learn, because the Prophet of Islam predicted that my Ummah will one time have 73 Sects and only One of them will be Jannati (deserving paradise) and the other 72 will be on the wrong path or words to that fact. Therefore, these factions will never learn unless they believe in the Latter day Messiah.
