Humanity First USA Responds to Oklahoma Disaster

The Situation
On May 20, 2013, the city of Moore, Oklahoma was ravaged by a tornado with wind speed up to 200 miles an hour, falling into the category of the strongest tornadoes measured. As of May 21st, 24 deaths have been confirmed and the city of 55,000 has been devastated by the storm.

Humanity First Response
Humanity First sent an initial assessment team to Moore, Oklahoma on May 21, 2013. The team is in the process of providing displaced individuals with essential supplies in coordination with other agencies and officials. The Humanity First team is also planning to aid with clean-up efforts.
