NEW DELHI: It would have been passed off as some comic relief to the grim rape drama had it not been for the utter insensitivity of his sexist remarks. The son of President Pranab Mukherjee and Congress MP from Jangipur Abhijeet Mukherjee described the Delhi protests as an agitation by “highly dented and painted” women who come to TV studios and walk with lighted candles, but have “little connection with the ground reality.”
