Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya Qadian recently organized a special convention on the eve of annual Ijetma. On this eve, Ahmed Shashtri expressed that Qadian is a holy city where a virtuous and chosen one from God was born who appeared as Masih Mahdi. He further stated that when God sends someone who possess caliber of this type, the land turns into holy. Sheikh Mujahid Ahmed stated that during partition of India-Pakistan, 313 dervish came to stay in this holy land despite threat to their lives. They came to stay here for the sake of obedience towards commands of second Spiritual Khalifa Hazrat Mirza Mahmood Ahmad Khalifatul Masih (II)(r.t.). Although many dervish have passed away, still this sacrifice of theirs will always remind us about them. Maulana Tanveer Ahmed Khadim said that descendants of dervish should always guard on this spirit. We too should walk on the path of those dervish.
During this occasion, Maulana Muhammad Nasim Khan, Maulana Sultan Ahmed Zafar and many others were present.
