A prayer vigil will be held at 8:10 this evening at the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community 5600 W. Fond du Lac Ave., Milwaukee, to honor the memory of the victims of today’s shooting at the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin.
“Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA – the oldest Muslim organization in America – strongly condemns this morning’s senseless shooting on worshipers gathered at the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin,” the community said in a news release Sunday. “Such brutality and hatred does not represent the otherwise tolerant and peaceful relationships between faith communities in this nation, and Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA calls on all people of conscience to condemn this act.
“Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA extends its prayers, condolences and sympathy to the Sikh community and hopes that justice will be established as law enforcement search for the suspect.”
“We are saddened that our Sikh friends suffered at the hands of this senseless act,” said Dr. Nasim Rehmatullah, National Vice President of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, USA. “This incident demonstrates more attention needs to be paid to religious education in order to foster a more tolerant and peaceful society.”

Btw, that suspect I thought was also shot dead by the cops….? So, the FBI has to find the reason for his act.
Prayers while everyone else is asleep are more profound and accepted. That might be the reason. It is kind of a state of emergency. In such situations Muslims call untimely azaan as well.
You are very right. In fact the reason is still unknown. I think we should not haste to detrmine it is racism.
This type of misunderstanding create turmoil in the societies. There can be many other reasons and possibilities. Now that the man is dead no one knows the reason. But he has paid it with his life.
Any extremely unbalanced troubled mind can do it. People need to turn towards God for eternal peace of mind.
Till today in my life I have not seen that anyone who thinks with inner most sympathy for even bitterest enemy, does not receive justice from God.
Promised Messiah said become like two brother from one mother, while well wishing for mankind, be beneficial to all regardless of skin,race and creed.such attitude should be adopted. We should bring this awareness to our children that Never think ill for mankind.
