Addition: Man replaced ‘Muslims’ with ‘Jews’ in Wilders pamphlet, got arrested

On March 24, 2008, a man was arrested in Amsterdam for ‘making discrimanatory statements against Jews’. He had taken a text from Geert Wilders and replaced the words ‘Islam’ and ‘Muslims’ with ‘Judaism’ and ‘Jews’.

This resulted in a text with slogans such as ‘No more Jews to enter the country’; ‘Many Jews out of the country’; ‘Denaturalisation of Jewish criminals’ and ‘Stop the immigration of Jews’.

The man had hoped that his arrest would also cause Geert Wilders to be arrested.

  1. This is of course the main point. There cannot be (well, should not be) a selective choice of justice. Freedom of speech should be the same targeting every one. Sadly, this is clearly not the case.
