Strong Saudi support for NATO action in Libya: Poll

JEDDAH: Fifty percent of Saudis support NATO’s military intervention in Libya while 33 percent oppose it and 17 percent have no comment, according to an online poll.

The findings, part of an international survey conducted by Ipsos last month, but just published, also shows remarkable support in India for the military action, where 75 percent of the citizens backed the offensive.

Saudi Arabia is the only Arab country included in the poll.

  1. Personally I think it is a shame. Muslim countries should solve problems among themselves. A ‘multi-national’ army from Muslim countries could bring peace to Libya.

  2. You are right brother Rafiq. Unfortunately the reality is that non-Ahmadi Muslims by not accepting the truths of Ahmadiyyat are without religious and spiritual leadership and are like headless chicken!
