The contemporary often create a debate between ‘Incoherence’ by Ghazali and ‘Incoherence of the Incoherence’ by Ibn Rushd.

In my opinion here is a possible resolution:

“The Originator of the heavens and the earth! How can He have a son when He has no consort, and when He has created everything and has knowledge of all things?

Such is Allah, your Lord. There is no God but He, the Creator of all things, so worship Him. And He is Guardian over everything.

What about if Ibn Rushd or Averroes is describing all the sciences except the Quantum Physics and Al Ghazali is describing the latter?

What if Ibn Rushd is on one side of dualism of Rene Descartes and Al Ghazali is on the other?

Eyes cannot reach Him but He reaches the eyes. And He is the Incomprehensible, the All-Aware.” (Al Quran 6:101-103)

Study of nature is based on human observation. Our eyes only perceive our universe.

However, if a Transcendent God of Abrahamic faiths exists, Who is beyond time, space and matter then human eyes cannot reach Him. However, He reaches the eyes of the prophet Muhammad, may peace be on him, and any genuine saintly persons.

About Allah’s Transcendence the Quran says: “There is nothing whatever like Him. He is All-Hearing, All-Seeing.” (Al Quran 42:11)
