Editorial note.

Launching the Muslim Law Review just so we can focus on the Islamic Law aimed at reaching out to the Judicial Officers in various Courts in California to begin with. I am more familiar with the judiciary here and I feel some fundamental information about Islamic Law (confused with what is widely held Sharia Law) that I argue is a misnomer.

We hope to get into more specifics as we expand in the future issues of the MUSLIM LAW REVIEW including the evolution of Islamic Legal system. In this regard, I am hoping to draw hugely from the resources of the The Muslim Times, a reservoir of information of Islamic and Muslim . My grateful thanks to the Chief Editor Dr. Zia Shah.
