Here’s one thing the leaders of Canada’s major political parties agree on: They oppose Quebec’s new ban on public employees wearing hijabs, turbans or yarmulkes on the job.

Here’s another: They’ve got no plans to do anything about it.

One must have faith that things should and will change for the best. Otherwise there is no use to run for election and not work for betterment of The People of your Land.

Oppression cannot hide even if you label it differently (in the name of freedom, etc) or close your eyes in face of it.

I pray that whoever gets elected, can handle bill 21 of Quebec head on. Ameen.

  2. A very famous and important teaching shared by all the great religions of the world: “Do Unto Others As You Would Have Them Do Unto You.” carries a tremendously vital message and applies to everyone at all levels. If all authorities whose decisions have an impact on the lives of so many people, pondered and enacted upon this teaching alone, such issues would hardly ever arise. These decisions are what define and determine the character of a country’s government. May God enable these lawmakers, whether they be in Asia or North America, to make the right decisions (Ameen).
