Afghanistan suicide bomb attack: Dozens killed in Kabul

At least 41 people have been killed and more than 80 wounded in a suicide bomb attack in the Afghan capital, Kabul.

A Shia cultural organisation was the target but the Afghan Voice news agency was also hit. So-called Islamic State said it was behind the attack.

The interior ministry told the BBC an explosion at the Shia centre was followed by at least two more blasts.

  1. Deepest sorrow whelmed my heart the time I heard that terrible news.
    Allah obliges victims’ families with patience and faith to suppress this sadness EnshaAllah.

  2. I agree that they are portraying Islam in a negative way, however, there is no such thing as violent hadith and violent verses. They may be misinterpreting verses or hadith.

    They are preforming these acts with their own choices. Islam does not support any of these horrible acts. May Allah guide them.

  3. That’s really a sad incident. I’m saddened for 41 innocent lives.
    May God bless the families of victims with patience.
    I don’t know when this SECT WAR will come to an end?. Millions of innocent people sacrificed their lives just bcos of being Minorities.

    • This is only ‘pretending to be’ a sect war. It is all about power. Who will be in-charge of the country(ies)
