The Ahmadis continue to suffer the Inquisition among general indifference. Several of them have been convicted in recent days in several parts of the country. This is the case in Oran and Constantine where followers of this Muslim orientation received four years of imprisonment. It has become a rule in recent months.

The security services systematically arrest all those who are suspected of practicing Ahmadiyyat. According to testimony, gathered from lawyers, police and even judicial authorities ask questions related to the convictions of these citizens. Judges even instruct some of the accused to “return” to the right path.

According to several scholars, practitioners of the Ahmadi rite never preach violence, unlike the Salafists who do so in an ostentatious manner. What is driving the authorities to be so ruthless towards this community? Indiscretions indicate that the Algerian government is acting in this way to satisfy the wishes of the Saudi regime that wants to protect the Wahhabism of which it is the promoter! Case to follow.

  1. Wikileaks published a letter from the Saudi Embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia, encouraging various Indonesian Authorities to take steps against the members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at. It is likely that the same thing happened in Algeria, and elsewhere. It might be interesting to monitor the (Swiss) bank account of these judges to see how many millions of $ they receive from Saudi Arabia for their anti-Ahmadiyya actions.

    • In the case of Algeria, I think it was the Algerian Embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan that “warned the dangers of Ahmadiyya” back home in Algeria. But that doesn’t exclude the role Saudi diplomats could have played.

  2. The google translation is pretty good, Alhamdulillah and managed to read it.

May Allah, help our Jama’at in Algeria, Ameen.
