Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Shimoga Hosts a hugely Successful Book Stall at 11^th District Kannada Sahitya Sammelan (District Kannada Gathering) on 4^th and 5^th Febuary 2017.

Shimoga: The Kannada Sahitya Sammeelana had organized their Yearly conference on 4^th and 5^th Febuary. Many renowned politicians, poets, Writers, Journalists, District Administration, University Administration and Staff, School Colleges Administration & Staffs & School & Colleges Students were invited for this conference.

Shimoga being a home land for many intellectuals and also known for its Kannada culture & Traditions had called to setup stalls through News Papers. By grace of Allah Majlis Khuddam Ul Ahmadiyya enquired about the gathering and type of crowd attending the event – upon information collected we got to know about the attendees of the event and we started to work for setup of our stall after calling a meeting with Majlis Aamila members.

All Khuddam, Atfal & Ansarullah worked hard since two days before the event to present our views and message of Jamaat through Jamaat’s Books. District Jama’at Ameer sahib and few khuddam and Ansar from Sorab & Sagar also took part in gathering all sorts of materials to setup Book Stall.

On Saturday the 4^th of February at 10:30 am our Stall was Inaugurated by the Na Di’souza, The President for the Kannada Sahitya Sammelana and a Senior Poet and Writer along with him Mr Jagannath (Member of Kannada Sahitya Parishad Shimoga), Mr Anantu (a journalist and member of Kannada Sahitya sammelana Shimoga, District President Janab M. Khaleel Ahmad, District Vice President Janab Mir Azam Zakriya, President of Ahmadiyya Jama’at Shimoga Janab Syed B.M.Ahmad were present.

Around 5000 Leaflets and Pamphlets were distributed and The Book World Crisis & Pathway to peace, Life Of Mohammad and peace leaflets were Liked and appreciated by the Visitors. Around 300 Visitors had a deep exchange of thoughts. Prominent personalities who visited our Stall were Mr Prasanna Kumar (Present Member of Legislative Assembly of Karnataka), Mr Sanna Rama (The Head of the 11^th Karnataka Sahitya Parishad Conference), Mr D.S.Arun (President of Shimoga District Chamber of Commerce & A Social Worker & Industrialist), Mr Natesh (Poet, Writer, Senior Proffessor, Womens College and Orator in Kannada), Mr Somachar (District Intelligence Department), Mr Riyaz Basha (Neuro Psychiartist, Poet & Writer), Mr M.K.Bhatt (President Kannada Sahitya Parishad, Talluk Sorab) Mr Srikantha Kodige (Vice Chancellor Kuvempu University & Chairman of Library Committee) we few listed.

“I am really moved by the way the Youngsters of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community worked right from setting up of Book Stall to the end, being your Neighbour Stall member I Salute your way of working and Team Work ”, Says Mr Parashuram.

More than 100 eminent Personalities have shared their appreciative comments which were truly faith inspiring.
