From the Facebook Page of Dr. Juergen Todenhoefer:
Dear friends, I am writing this text full of anger and shame. Almost every day it’s raining bombs on Mosul. 15.000 civilians were already killed in the region by air raids of the U.S. coalition. The world remains silent.
The United States secretly kill and all remains quiet. Where are the politicians who stand against terror and scream: ” Mosul must not die!”
The United States are now planning the bloody finale. They want to kill the 5.000 IS -terrorists who still hide in Mosul, with 90.000 Shia, Kurdish, Turkish and a few thousand bribed Arab-Sunni militants, supported by 6.500 U.S. special forces. Parallel to the armed ground forces assault the US-led 60-State Coalition are bombing the city of Mosul by the minute. 80 % of the bombings are carried out by the United States. The rest is coordinated by them. The balance of power to the IS is 100:1, maybe 1000:1!
In Mosul tens of thousands of innocent people will die. Important infrastructure facilities of Mosul have already been destroyed through bombs of the US-led Coalition. The Electricity, gas and water supply, schools, the university, several hospitals have already been hit, the German hospital as well. No one is protesting.
Since the U.S. invasion of 2003 the luck of the Iraqi Sunni received a big blow. Already in Tikrit, Ramadi and Fallujah the United States left a wide trail of blood. Since August 2014 kil the American-led Coalition has killed with their bombs on Sunni-Iraqi cities (including Mosul) around 50.000 civilians. Allied Ground troops killed a further 15.000 civilians. The Bombenkrieg of the USA against Iraqi cities is a crime and a shame.
But, unlike in Syria, where the Russian air force has to answer for the death of 5-10.000 civilians, there’s no outcry of our politicians and the media. This too is a disgrace.
Who, like almost all our politicians, speak about the ‘Liberation’ Mosuls, is lying. The Sunni cities in Iraq are not free, but destroyed. In rubble and ashes. The Escaped residents lose everything. Often their families, everything. And no one in the west protests or speaks out. Are we vassals, servants of the United States or a proud, free country?
I’ve visited twice Mosul. Once in 2003, a few weeks before the American invasion, and another time under the dictatorship of the IS. It was shocking days. In Mosul live wonderful people. People like you and me. But in terrible suffering: First they had to the endure the murderous sanctions of Clinton, then the war on terror, the bush’s and now the ‘ freedom ‘ Obama’s bombs. But who bothers to weep for Mosul, and for the Sunnis of Iraq? Every day I think of the people of Mosul.
” Mr Obama, would you also bomb the American Cities Philadelphia or Phoenix in ruins, if there were 5.000 terrorists hiding there? Or Munich or Hamburg?
Yes, also the murderers of IS are killing in Iraq, until today may be around 10’000 people
– fighters and civilians. Yes, we do have to oppose and fight the terror of IS, but with better and more clever strategies. Up to now the United States and its coalition bombs have killed 50’000 civilians. As with all wars bombs kill the wrong people. And breed new terrorists.
Most of the IS-terrorists managed to escape the present bombings, together with normal refugees or through tunnels or through bribery. And you speak of great successes. What kind of cynicism: The Sunni cities lie in ruins, tens of thousands of civilians are dead, the IS terrorists largely escaped, and you speak of victory and liberation! That is perverted thinking!
The escaped IS terrorists are already fighting in other places, these days for example in Kirkuk. Or they have gone under-ground. As the IS is increasingly loosing its ‘territory’ they return to the former guerilla and terror tactics. Its murderous fight goes on. Without territory and without the burden of the administration of the cities IS could be even more unpredictable than before.
In any case we cannot speak of a victory. The Sunni Iraq dies. But the terror is alive. It is foolish to say something else.
The number of terrorists in Iraq has even increased. This is not surprising. In some of the totally destroyed Sunni cities most young people who have lost everything, that is why they have sworn allegiance to IS. Or other terrorist organisations. Out of desperation. For example, in Ramadi, that I know well.
Not a few is terrorists will soon reach to Europe. Even to Germany. And in other regions of the world. In order to take revenge. We will pay for the American bombing with decades of terrorism. The USA haven’t learned anything.
There could have been the strategies to defeat IS without bombings. The White house has an official offer from the Iraqi sunni opposition – including the former baathists – they were ready (and are), to defeat IS once and for all. Behind them, there are 10 million Sunnis.
IS would not have any chance at all against them. . I myself passed this offer of the US leadership.
The only condition of the Sunni opposition: they wanted after more than a decade of total political discrimination an equal footing in the political life of Iraq. For the White House, this was too complicated. To tomb is easier.
If the world does not finally rise up against these attacks, the millennia-old cultural city of Mosul soon will no longer exist. Thanks to Clinton and Bush, thanks to the IS. And thanks to you, Mr Obama. If you will not stop this criminal madness, Mosul. will die. In the rubble of your big words. And our cowardice.”

Bombings and Sanctions are acts of politicians who have no better ideas. Both result in a lot of ‘collteral damage’ (well, that was ‘civilian death toll’, before some Americans added new words to the dictionary). Sanctions on Russians and Iranians for instance make European businesses suffer more than the Russians and Iranians (who can purchase most goods elsewhere). And the small businesses in those countries too. Bombings, well, I suppose you know by now …
Civilian casualties may well run over one million civilians dead.
And of course, to the U.S’s military and civilian war planners, “collateral damage”, in terms of innocent children, women, the old aged, ect, killed in an operation like this, means absolutely nothing unless, in fact, those innocents are Americans.
As the Iraqi military with U.S support closes in on Mosul it is becoming clear that the U.S plan is to transfer the ISIS troops defending the city to Syria as part of the regime change plan there.
The U.S and Saudi leaders have decided to allow the safe passage of 9000 ISIS terrorists to vacate Mosul in Iraq and, relocate into Syria.
Despite the turbulent political rumblings and threats, Russia and the government of Syria have steadfastly worked to free eastern Aleppo from the remaining terrorists who are now surrounded there. The decision to allow ISIS to flee safely into Syria once again reveals to the world the gloved hand that shepherds and steers these terrorists.
The bombing of Syrian Army soldiers in Deir Ezzor by U.S now appear purposed and calculated rather than an accident claimed by the U.S.
A further attack a few days later that destroyed the last two surviving bridges spanning the Euphrates River. Their destruction, will isolate the Syrian forces stationed at Deir Ezzor and, make life more difficult for the Syrian people who are already wearing the burden of six years at war.
As the ISIS terrorists leave Mosul and travel into Syria their objectives are the recently freed city of Palmyra, and the brave city of Deir Ezzor.
Whether their safe passage from Mosul includes U.S and Saudi cover into Syria remains a mystery..Regardless their location in eastern Syria allows their masters the tactical advantage of mobilising these proxy forces at the time of their choosing in their ultimate goal of deposing Syrian President Assad, hence the fall of Syria and a regime change by placing an American puppet in place of Assad at any cost.
right, it should be considered a war crime to let ‘ISIS’ terrorists leave with their arms from Mosul to Syria …
