Justice is a central theme in many faith traditions. For centuries, religious texts and teachings have given believers moral instruction on how to live, how to relate to each other, and how to live in community.

This is certainly true for the Abrahamic faiths ― Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. While critics may choose to focus on verses in the Bible and the Quran that, when taken out of context, can appear violent and unfair (just scroll down to the comments that will inevitably pop up at the bottom of this article for those), both of these texts are also incredible resources for believers who want to do the work of justice in the world. They both have verses that talk about what it means to forgive those who have wronged you, to be kind to strangers, to strive for peace, and to care for the poor. People have been inspired by these verses to go out into the world to advocate for the marginalized, provide relief to disaster victims, and to fight for equality.

To demonstrate the similarities between these three great religious traditions, HuffPost Religion put together this quiz containing verses about justice from the Quran and the Bible. How hard is it for you to tell them apart?

  1. PROPHET Muhammad (saw) treated Christian, Jews, Muslim equal, do justice for all;

    QS 42:15. And say ( Muhammad ), “I believe in whatever book Allah has sent down. And I have been ordered to do justice among you(Christian, Jews, Quraish, etc ). Allah is our Lord and your Lord. For us are our deeds, and for you, your deeds. There is no argumentation between us and you. Allah will bring us together, and to Him is the final return.”.

    My question, Why does Saudi Arabia, where Islam was born treat Christian and Jews differently. Saudi Arabia impose non Muslim women to cover her hair when enter Saudi Arabia. No Muslim women ban swimsuit “Bikini” in Saudi Arabia’s beach.
    Second why Saudi Arabia do not allow Christian and Jews to build their own Church and temple etc.

    IN contrast, United States of America allow all religions to build their own Mosque, Temple etc.
    So who does Justice for all? Saudi Arabia or America?

    Does Muslim Ahmadiyah support to do justice for all in Islamic countries?

    Wassalamu’alaikum wrwb–With all my love
    America is the true Islamic government;

    • “moral instruction on how to live, how to relate to each other, and how to live in community.This is certainly true for the Abrahamic faiths ― Judaism” – LOL, (Palestine).

    • Ali has a one-tracked mind. Of course Muslim Ahmadiyya support ‘to do justice for all in Islamic countries’. If you follow The Muslim Times and and you should have noticed by now. – Yes, there are many good things in the United States, such as the permission to build Mosques and Temples and Churches and worship freely. Before I agree that the ‘United States of America’ is a truly Islamic State however they would need to get control of their rogue elements in their CIA, NSA, Special Forces etc, who create havoc around the world.

  2. Ahmadiyya Muslim community claims to be true followers of Quran and huzoor SAW , so how can it deny justice? The sole purpose of the community is that people including Muslims understand Islam where there is high standard of justice , ther is not only religious freedom but also acceptance of others faith , there is no place for religious bigotry, etc. The community believes in the holy Quran which says that there is continuation of prophethood which includes hazrat Moses , hazrat Isa , hazrat Ram etc. It believes that huzoor SAW is final prophet and khatumannabeen . It is very clear that if any Muslim or any Muslim country is not following the peace full and secular teachings of Islam , it is his fault ; Islam should not be blamed .

      It seems to me that according to your statement above, you agree that the religious freedom and justice for all people regardless his race, religion and gender.

      Do Muslim Ahmadiyyah accept the right of LGBT?
      Extremist Muslim, and extremist Christian reject the right of LGBT.

      Both Liberal Muslim and Christian accept the right of LGBT. Obama treat LGBT equal.

      Please can you give me your thought? Syed Aftab Alam
