The Ashanti Regional Missionary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission, Maulvi Abdul Hameed Tahir, urged parents to put premium on the education of their children, especially the girl-child, to guarantee their future.

Mrs Owusu Achiaw commended the immediate past board for upholding discipline with a sense of purpose, unity, love and progressiveness.She stressed that the exhibition of high disciplinary standards was the surest way to uphold academic excellence.

The Ashanti Regional Director of Education, Mrs Mary Owusu Achiaw, has admonished Parent-Teacher Associations (PTAs) of senior high schools (SHSs) to always seek the approval of the Ghana Education Service (GES) through the schools’ governing boards, before charging any fee for development projects.

Mrs Owusu Achiaw gave the advice at the inauguration of a 13-member reconstituted Board of Governors for the T.I. Ahmadiyya Girls Senior High School at Asokore in the Sekyere East District in the Ashanti Region.
