Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Tooting held its 2nd Peace conference on 17th July 2016 to promote Peace, Loyalty, Freedom, Respect and Equality.

The theme of this years peace conference was “Pathway to Peace” and to “Pray for the World Peace”.
The conference was attended by Tooting MP Dr Rosena Allin Khan, Mayor of Wandsworth Cllr Richard Field, President Hindu Society Tooting Mrs Sunita Rai, President Khalsa Centre (Sikh Community) Tooting Mr Harbans Singh Mehta, Tooting Police Inspector Barrie Capper, Fatith Leaders and Wandsworth Councillors.


All the speakers at conference spoke on various aspects of peace in the society.
Tooting MP Dr Rosena Allin Khan spoke on communities togetherness and to organize and help such event to promote peace and harmony.

Honorable Imam Ata Ul Mujeeb Rashid of London Mosque spoke eloquently about the true teachings of Islam to enlighten the audience present who were very much astounded to hear the glorious, vivid and virtuous teachings of Islam. He supported his verdict in the light of Holy Quran, sayings of the Holy Prophet of Islam Hazrath Mohammad Mustafa (saw) and also from the sayings of the founder of Ahmadiyya Movement Hazrath Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) of Qadian. He explained the divine ways to established justice in the society which in turn would result in establishing everlasting peace and tranquility in the society.
Ahmadiyya Muslim Tooting President Shakeel Ahmed gave a brief introduction about the community and expressed a heartfelt gratitude to all of attendees who, by attending it had demonstrated their love, affection and brotherhood.
Ahmadiyya Muslim community presented appreciation certificates & Awards in recognition to their valuable contributions, outstanding performance, tireless effort and constant support to the community.

Mayor of Wandsworth Councillor Richard Field also been presented a Cheque for Wandsworth Mayor’s Charity.

The event ended with the customary prayer
