About 10 interfaith leaders came together this afternoon in Essex, CT to pray and talk about the recent tragedies and overall plummeting condition of the world and our response.
The teachings of His Holiness the Promised Messiah (as) and His successors, the Khulfas of Islam Ahmadiyyat were particularly showcased as true representatives of Islam and its prophet His Holiness Prophet Muhammad (saw) and as practical solutions in our time.
They were handed fliers containing messages of “True Islam and Peace” as taught by the Messiah.
The event ended with recitation of verses from the Holy Quran where Allah forbids evil and encourages righteousness.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community plans to make this a monthly meeting and alliance to enhance our connectivity, and that of others in CT especially schools and Universities, promoting participation in each other’s goodness.
