BERLIN: German police have arrested three Pakistani suspects as 18 women have reported becoming victims of sexual assaults at a music festival, authorities said Tuesday.
The mostly young women said they were encircled and groped by groups of men on Saturday night in ways that recalled a spate of mob attacks at chaotic New Year’s festivities in Cologn.
Police said they were investigating whether the perpetrators also robbed the women in the latest attacks at a four-day open air music festival in the western city of Darmstadt.
Initially three women had filed charges, leading to the arrests of the three men, Pakistani asylum seekers aged 28 to 31, and another 15 women have come forward since.
Police said they were searching for another two or three men and said in a statement that “the women have reported that they appeared to be men from the South Asia region”.
The Cologne attacks — committed in a crowd of mostly Arabic and North African men — appalled Germany and sharpened public concern about the arrival of over one million mostly asylum seekers last year, most from the Middle East.
In the inflamed debate, far-right groups railed against “sex jihadists” and “rapefugees”.

Sexual grooming is a part and parcel of western society. These Pakistanis who were involved in such incidents were the product of western education.
Pakistani youths who are victims of sexual grooming are the product of western education system. They find themselves cut off from their cultural heritage and are unable to enjoy the beauty of their literature and poetry. Sexual grooming is a Western value and the poor Pakistani youths have adopted this vital British value. Muslim children need state funded Muslim schools with Muslim teachers as role models during their developmental periods. There is no place for a non-Muslim child or a teacher in a Muslim school. A Muslim is a citizen of this tiny global village. The whole world belongs to him/her. He/she does not want to become notoriously monolingual Brit. He /she is well versed in English, Arabic, Urdu and other community languages. Muslim community is paying all sorts of taxes and contributing for the economic, social and spiritual prosperity of the British society at large. Pakistan is only seven hours away from London.
The native Brits have double standards and are hypocrites; they don’t mention the fact that the majority of men who go to countries in East Asia looking for under aged sex are natives European men.

Trying to twist things into being about the west? It isn’t Westerners who go into an uncontrollable frenzy if they see any part of a woman’s body. Then blame the woman because the men can’t control themselves.
I agree many european and american go to Thailand for young girls, but the difference is they are NOT seeking asylum, they are there to have fun in this world, not waiting for wide eyed beautiful houris in the next world.
Islam teaches than when we die we keep the same gender and bodily desires. Men will get many women called Houris who stay virg ins despite men having as much sx as they want. They have transparent skin, large eyes and smiling faces. They have large br easts even though they don’t get pregnant, so not for feeding a baby. Only for men’s desire. They also have no bodily functions or odours. All women get is the same smelly man they had while alive who they share with the Houris, and the Houris will tell the wives to not annoy their husbands. It’s like a sexist man made it up to appeal to teenage boys. Other scholars say Houri means grapes.
