Women from various religions, ethnicities and backgrounds crammed a small room for Ottawa Hijab Solidarity Day on Thursday night.

Event held at Ottawa City Hall with Chief Charles Bordeleau Ottawa Police Service and other speakers joining the event to denounce Islamophobia against those who commit acts of Hate toward women who wear hijab or Other Islamic head coverings
