India: Ahmadiyya Muslim Community organizes Blood Donation Camp in Kolkata [Khidmat-e-Khalq by Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya Kolkata]

VOLUNTARY BLOOD DONATION CAMP BY MAJLIS KHUDDAMUL AHMADIYYA, KOLKATA

Sunday, November 22: Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya Kolkata under the banner of its internationally renowned NGO – Humanity First – organized a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp in association with Kolkata Swastha Sankalp (K.S.S.) a local NGO working in aid of dialysis patients and Project Life Force (PLF), a local NGO to make West Bengal a Zero Blood Deficit state.

The Camp started at 10.00 am with a brief introduction of the community.

The stage was chaired by Senior Missionary-in-Charge, Kolkata – Jb Moulvi Jamal Shariyat Ahmad Sb., Asst. Missionary-in-Charge, Kolkata – Jb Moulvi Ziaul Haque Sb., Qaid Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya, Kolkata – Nasir Mahmood Sb.

The programme started with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Jb Moulvi Ziaul Haque Sb. and its English translation was done by Nayeb Qaid Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya, Kolkata – Farid Alam Sb.

A brief speech was delivered by Sri Pranab Bedi, member of Project Life Force.

Then, Senior Missionary-in-Charge, Kolkata – Jb Moulvi Jamal Shariyat Ahmad Sb gave a thanks giving speech and led a silent prayer.

The registration of blood donation started at 10.30 a.m.

Campaigning for the programme’s was done through Facebook and Whatsapp throughout Kolkata.

About 21 (twenty one) litres of blood was collected, Al’humdulillah
