Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of Fort Worth is organizing an interfaith event called “Purpose of Man on Earth” from 2 to 4 p.m. today at the Henderson Civic Center, 1500 Lake Forest Parkway in Henderson.

The event is free and open to the public.

Speakers will be:

Bishop Orville Williamson of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints,

the Rev. Lawrence Thompson of Longview Drive Missionary Baptist Church, and

Imam Mubasher Ahmad of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.

The event will include a question and answer session, followed by refreshments.
