One month ago Khurshid Ahmad Parbhakar had predicted about his own death.
Khurshid Ahmad Parbhakar Derwaish passed away here in Qadian today after a brief illness. He last breathed at 4 A.M in Noor Hospital Qadian. He was 96 years old.
Born at village Dhani Dev in Tehsil Narowal of Sialkot District in current day Pakistan, Khurshid Parbhakar came to Qadian on the call of late Hazrat Mirza Bashir-ud Din Mehmood Ahmad (ra) 2nd Caliph of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at, to protect the holy places at the time of the Indo-Pak partition.

Khurshid Ahmad Parbhakar was a scholar and he has written 15 books, some 300 articles and about 250 peaces of poetry in his life.

He was tasked by the Ahmadiyya leader to translate the Holy Quran in Hindi which he started to translate in 1959 and completed the translation work in 1967.
He is survived by six sons and three daughters. One of his son, Krishan Ahmad, is an employee of Sadr Anjuman Ahmadiyya Qadian where he has served for a long time in the office of Weekly Badr and he is also a press correspondent for Dainik Jagran (Hindi) from Qadian.
Khurshid Ahmad Parbhakar will be buried at Bahishti Maqbra tomorrow.
Maulana Mohammad Inam Ghori, cheif secretary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at India, expressed grief over the death of Darwesh Parbhakar.
Ex Cabinet Minister and Chairman ITI Board Punjab Chairman Sewa Singh Sekhwan also expressed his grief to the deceased family.
Qadian Press Club also expressed grief on the death of Parbhakar.
Today Maulana Zaheer Ahmad Khadim, Secretary Ahmadiyya Jamaat; Mohammad Nasim Khan Secretary Amoor Ama; Chaudhry Mansoor Ghanokay, Naib Nazim Majlis Ansarullah Qadian; Ashwani Mahajan, President Press Club Qadian; visited the deceased family and expressed their condolences and sympathy.
