International Yoga Day was organized in Qadian today on 21st June.

Rajya Sabah Member (MP) and vice president of Bhartia Janta Party Mr. Avinash Rai Khanna participated in it.

The event was organized in Ahmadiyya Ground.

Nearly Five Hundred Ahmadi Muslims gathered at the Ahmadiyya Grounds led by Maulana Mohammad Inam Ghori, the Chief Secretary of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, India.

The event started with Recitation of the Holy Quran.

MP Avinash Rai Khanna expressed his happiness about participating in the event, and talking to media he appreciated the efforts of the participants (Ahmadiyya Muslims) for organizing the event.

He especially appreciated the spirit of participants for organizing a Yoga Event in the on-going month of fasting (Ramazan) as it very difficult to sit & exercise in hot weather.
