“After the hostages crisis of Japanese citizens in Iraq this year, interest in Islam, is increased in Japanese society. Yet, the Japanese people at large remains unaware in the basics of the world’s fastest-growing religion. As the war rages in middle east, most Japanese are aware of the militants and extremists, but actually know very little about the “real teachings” of Islam. Knowledge about the founder of Islam is not as much as it should be”, explained Mr Anees Ahmad Nadeem.
