Dr. Juergen Todenhoefer's 7 points plan for the Middle East

todenhoeferThe German retired politician and peace activist Dr. Juergen Todenhoefer has launched the following 7 points plan for the Middle East (as per his facebook page):

1.  Long term Peace and Security Conference of all Muslim States in order to end inter-state conflicts. Also between Sunni and Shiite countries. Some governments and countries in the Middle East are also guilty in the chaos of the region. For many social justice seems a foreign word.

2. Dismantling of Western military bases in the Muslim world. They are a humiliating left-overs of the colonial area which no-one needs. We do not have any military bases in China. Amis go home.

3. Waver of Western wars in the Muslim world. The Western wars have given rise in the numbers of International terrorists since 9/11 from 1’000 to more than 100’000. The Middle East is sinking in terrorism. We have bread it ourselves.

4. Strict and absolute non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries. That also applies to Saudi Arabia and Iran. The Muslim countries have to solve their conflicts themselves. Even the ‘IS’ conflict.

5. The West should treat the Muslim world as generous and fair as it does Israel.

6. Ending of the racist and religious discrimination of Muslims in the countries of the Western world. Punishment of insulting religions and religious groups (sedition as automatically demanded by  paragraph 166 and 130 of the German criminal code). Our judges do not have the right to just not apply certain paragraphs. That is punishable diffraction.

7. Combating all kinds of terrorism in the world – whether left-extremist, right-extremist, separatist, religious or otherwise motivated- with the classical police (!) methods of the anti terror fight. Infiltration, supervision, cash, special commandos etc, but not with the failed terror breeding program war.

The Western and the Muslim world need a new way of thinking, in which justice and education stays in the front and not supply of tanks and oil contracts. Wars of aggression and terror are a crime against humanity.

My advice to both sides: Stop with your godless violence to abuse God! Otherwise hell will overflow soon. God is neither an aggression warrior nor a terrorist.

Yours    JT

  1. Juergen Todenhoefer refused to add that there are American troops in Germany and Japan and that such presence has been a militating factor against resurgent militarism in both countries. It also kept Europe, in particular stable, especially during the cold war. In Asia the hegemonic design of the Soviet empire was kept at bay.
American troops in the Arab countries are not a leftover of colonialism. Rather, result from the mutual understanding of the host countries and their guests. In most, if not all,of these counties, American presence gave them the assurance of being protected from the territorial and ideological ambitions of some of their more powerful neighbors.

  2. Indeed the Americans behaved differently in Germany than in Iraq. In Germany they tried to ‘re-float’ the country while in Iraq they ensured continued de-stabilization and destruction. (as witnessed first-hand…)

  3. “THE WORKING GROUP WILL BE UNAPOLOGETIC ABOUT AMERICA’S ROLE IN THE MUSLIM WORLD. A POWER THAT LAID TO WASTE RELIGIOUS TYRANNY IN AFGHANISTAN AND DESPOTISM IN IRAQ, THAT CAME TO THE RESCUE OF THE MUSLIMS IN THE BALKANS WHEN THEY APPEARED ALL BUT DOOMED, HAS GIVEN MUCH TO THOSE BURDENED POPULATIONS”. Fouad Ajami, Senior Fellow, Hoover Institute, in “The Myth of the Great Satan”, page 24, e book edition.
The accusation of American destruction of Iraq is nothing but a myth. The war ended quicker than anyone had expected with very minimal damage. On the day Baghdad fell, people were seen on balconies watching the coalition troops and even children were not afraid to approach the soldiers.
Iraq was destroyed by its own people through sectarian wars.
According to reports, by January 2010, there were 1.3 million telephone landlines and 19 million mobile phones compared with pre-war level of 833,000 landlines and no cellular. Iraq had 1.6 million internet subscribers compared to pre-war 4600. Car ownership doubled between 2003 and 2004.Public sector employment went up accounting for 43% of all jobs.
The anti-American bias does not explain how, in the midst of this “massive destruction”, the Iraqi population increased by 37.3% between 2002 and 2011 rising from 24 million to 32.96 million. The Iraqi mentality must be so strange that under the cruelest conditions the people chose to breed on an unprecedented scale.
Iraq is among the first three top recipients of American aid.
What is even more ironic is that when ISIS threatened to take over Iraq, the government turned to the same America for help not minding all the ‘destruction’ that had been done before.
People sometimes see what is on their minds which may not physically be present.

    • Nemelee is ignorant. I have been in Iraq countless times from 2003 until 2011 and have seen the massive destruction caused by US Air Force and army. Namelee only sees what he wants to see.

  4. “NAMELEE IS IGNORANT.I—HAVE SEEN THE MASSIVE DESTRUCTION CAUSED BY THE US AIR FORCE AND ARMY”.
Oh no, Rafiq. Namelee is not ignorant.
There is no doubt that Iraq suffered some destruction but the bulk of that was not caused by the American forces. It was done by the Iraqis who have been fighting each other for supremacy.
Why is the story different in Kurdistan where the Americans are seen as liberators instead of occupiers?
Mawaffak Rubaie said this, as reported by the Los Angeles Times of July 21, 2007, “–THE MOST DEADLY WEAPONS AND EXPLOSIVES–,OR IEDS, ENTER IRAQ FROM IRAN. 90% OF THE SUICIDE BOMBERS ARE FOREIGNERS; HALF OF THEM ARE SAUDI NATIONALS; AND THE MAJORITY OF THESE BOMBERS ENTER IRAQ THROUGH SYRIA. NEARLY 90% OF THEIR VICTIMS ARE INNOCENT CIVILIANS—-WE MUST PERSUADE OUR NEIGHBORS TO PREVENT TERRORISTS AND MEDDLERS FROM USING THEIR TERRITORIES AS ENTRY POINTS INTO IRAQ–“.
The reconstruction effort has cost the Americans billions off dollars. That would not be the attitude of a government bent on destroying Iraq.

    • My dear Namelee. “Some destruction” ? To oust Saddam Hussain was it necessary to destroy electricity and water supply? And … I can distinguish between terrorist road side bombs and bomb damage caused by US air strikes and artillery fire. And in places like Falluja now they still suffer from after-effects of these sophisticated bombs, birth defects en masse. These are not caused by the crude terrorist weapons. – I do not belittle in any way the stupidity of suicide bombers and road side bombs used by Muslims against Muslims. As Dr. Tariq Ramadan said in an interview: “We are being destabilized because we are destabilizable”. – The Muslim world, it seems to me, will only come to peace when they accept the Peace Plans as outlined by the Khalifa of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.

  5. Rafiq,

    >>>

With all your bias against America, why are you still a naturalized citizen of that country? Your attitude amounts to an abuse of generosity. It is one reason why asylum seekers ought to be sent back to their countries instead of being granted citizenship.

    • HaHaHa! Namelee (or nameless) I am neither American nor a Asylum seeker nor naturalized Citizen of any Country! Born Swiss as were all my previous generations. Did I Sound so American?

  6. He is genius, valorous, forthright and verbatim true. May Allah be with him and succeed him and bestow honor and triumph on him.

Please ignore Nameless (Namelee) comments He/She lives in abyss darkness and only with insular and insane thoughts around him/her.
