India: Jama’at-e-Ahmadiyya Shimoga Hold their 3rd Annual Blood Donation Camp

Today i.e. on 22nd March 2015, we, Members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Shimoga hosted a Blood Donation Drive.

Shimoga is in Southern part of India about 275 kilometers from Capital of Karnataka State , Bangalore

This is the community’s third blood donation drive and the theme of the donation was “Towards world peace and to Mark Messiah Moud Day”.

The drive was associated with Rotary Blood Bank, Shimoga.

Around 300 members of jama’at including Ansarullah, Khuddam, Atfal , Lajna & Nasirath participated in the event. A total of 55 pints were collected by God’s Grace.

The Event was presided over by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaath President Janab Bashiruddin Mehmood Ahmad.

Attending Chief Guests were Mr Nagaraj Gowda, Education Department Head for the Shimoga District, along with 3 city corporators, 2 Doctors and 1 Member from Rotary International.

The Program began with Recitation of The Holy Quraan, followed with regional language translation by Janab Molvi Tariq Ahmad Idris. A beautifully presented nazm and inspirational speech were presented next. Additionally a documentary  about the introduction of Ahmadiyyat was shown which was in Kannada, the local regional language.

Over all it was a huge success for jama’ath and the event was well appreciated by attendees.
