There are no simple recipes. Even if the state does not take two fundamental actions — putting a distance between religion and power politics, and admitting openly that the militants are not foreign, but our own and have to be fought — it must find ways to neutralise the militants’ narrative, which finds them support in society.

Radical or extremist both are mind sets. It takes decades if not years to change the mind set of group of people. Absence of absolute justice, fairness and equal opportunists are the main contributing factors to it. All do intellectual gossiping here and there and no one seems to be interested to recognize the real causes and solutions. Regrettably so is this attempt.
