Ahmadiyya Muslim Association Australia plans to share the joy with the broader community in celebrating the 25th Anniversary of its first ever mosque in Sydney Australia, Masjid Baitul Huda (House of Guidance). The theme for this celebration “Mosque for Peace”, together with a unique Holy Koran Exhibition and the guided Mosque Tour, is attracting hundreds of people, including the academics, religious and community leaders, and a number of local, state and federal politicians (including the representative of the Prime Minister of Australia).

The event is aimed at raising awareness on how mosques play an important role in building peace with various communities and establishing strong and sustainable relationships with the broader community. Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, a Worldwide Muslim Community, is proactive around the world in striving to bring Peace and Understanding. Our motto is “LOVE FOR ALL HATRED FOR NONE”.

Another highlight of the evening is welcoming our newly appointed National President and Missionary In-charge Imam I. H. Kauser who has served the community for more than 40 years, including 32 years in USA. Imam Kauser actively involves himself in reaching out to the broader community and making bridges to spread the message of Peace, Love and Harmony.

Media coverage both before and after this auspicious event can provide a huge boost to the “mosque for peace” campaign at a time when nations, communities and individuals could play key roles in building peace. Imam I. H. Kauser can also be interviewed as he displays an extraordinarily deep insight into the current global crisis and solutions to attaining peace.
