Tens of student and staff members from the college were killed during the 51-day Israeli war over the Gaza Strip

Dozens of students at the Gaza College for Applied Sciences graduated on Tuesday after the college was heavily bombed during the Israeli offensive over Gaza.

Although the ceremony was meant to be a happy time for the students and their families, many young graduates broke into tears as teachers honoured tens of students and staff members who were killed by Israeli air strikes during the 51-day war.
