Targeted killing: Body of Ahmadi doctor flown to Canada
Dr Qamar’s murder comes on the heels of a number of anti-Ahmadi attacks. Ten days ago, a 65-year-old Ahmadi man was shot dead in a police lock-up in the Sharaqpur area of Sheikhupura district. On May 28th (today), members of the community will mark the fourth anniversary of deadly attacks on two places of worship in Lahore, which left more than 90 dead and 150 injured.
Dr Qamar was shot by two men on a motorbike as he exited a graveyard after prayers. Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya spokesperson Saleemuddin told The Express Tribune that Dr Qamar was paying an annual visit to Chenab Nagar in order to offer treatment at the Tahrir Health Institute. The spokesperson added that pamphlets and posters declaring treatment at the hospital ‘un-Islamic’ have been posted on the premises. An FIR was lodged against two unidentified assailants on the complaint of a guard at the graveyard, officials said.
A member of the community told The Express Tribune that some members of an anti-Ahmadi group recently moved to Rabwah from Lahore and their role in the attack cannot be ruled out.

But there is no comments from the government of Punjab or center. This very clearly indicates the killers are hiding behind the authorities. The hate pamphlet distributor are the killers and I am sure the authorities must be knowing them. Insha-Allah time will soon come that the truth will be revealed.
