Bangladesh: 90th Annual Conference 2014 ends with Hopes of Peace

Dhaka: The annual convention of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at, Bangladesh, ended here on Sunday.

National Amir of the Jama’at, Alhaj Mobasher Ur Rahman declared the end of the conference.

Eminent personalities of civil society delivered their speeches at the concluding session. Human rights activist Advocate Z I Khan Panna and prominent journalist Julfikar Ali Manik urged all to establish secular teachings of Islam and human rights in the country. The conference was addressed also by Ahmad Tousif Chowdhury, Alhaj Ahmad Tabshir Chowdhury and Mawlana Abdul Awal Khan Chowdhury.

Ahmadiyya Jamaat hopes for peace

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Bangladesh yesterday urged people to follow the system provided by its Caliph Mirza Masrur Ahmad for world peace.

Ameer Mobasher Ur Rahman said on the last day of its 90th annual convention:

Unrest is prevailing worldwide; so, the system, in light with Islamic teachings, the caliph has presented should be followed.

Rights activist ZI Khan Panna urged all to establish secular teachings of Islam and human rights. Ahmad Tousif Chowdhury, Ahmad Tabshir Chowdhury and Mawlana Abdul Awal Khan Chowdhury  also addressed the programme.
