Muslim group supervising Temple Mount makes new claims: King Solomon was Muslim, and the Western Wall is holy to Islam.
Israel National News:
The Islamic Waqf, which supervises the Temple Mount, Judaism’s holiest site, has issued a pamphlet that makes new claims regarding the Mount – arguing, among other things, that King Solomon was a Muslim and that there is no Jewish connection to either the Temple Mount or the Western Wall (Kotel).
…………… In one section, titled, “Al-Buraq Wall and NOT the Wailing Wall,” the pamphlet teaches, “Al-Buraq wall is part of the western wall of the Al-Aqsa mosque.” The pamphlet goes on to link the wall to Islam, stating that it is known as the site where Mohammed “tied his winged steed, Al-Buraq.” (According to Islamic legend Muhammed did not die but flew to heaven on a winged horse called Al-Buraq.)
“Jews and some Christians, while falsely claiming it is part of their so-called ‘Temple,’ have made a ritual of standing in front of it, and wailing over the power they say was lost to Muslims. Despite the lack of a shred of proof to support these claims, they have turned it into a Jewish shrine since occupation in 1967, and have been conducting so-called archaeological excavations beneath it… in preparation for laying hands over the whole Mosque,” the pamphlet continues.

There can never be and end to attempts to distort history. Solomon was the Jewish king born to David and Bathsheba. He, it was, who built the structure popularly called ‘Solomon’s Temple’ whose relics exist as the ‘Wailing Wall’ today. If as the ‘findings show’ that he built the temple, how can anyone, in all honesty, separate the Wailing Wall from the Jews?
Muhammad never set his foot on Jerusalem. He claimed to have been transported there in the night in his dream but not corporeally. His cousin, Um Thani said he spent the night in her house while Aisha confirmed that both of them were in bed together. That was why he could not give a physical description of Jerusalem which he claimed to have just visited. Abu Bakr, the gullible, had to come to his rescue by acknowledging whatever Muhammad gave as description. …
If one were to claim territories based on his dreams, then it will be easy for anyone to proclaim him/herself as the emperor of the universe. People have such hallucinations which may sometimes be caused by the sickness of the mind or brain.
The so called Al-Aqsa mosque was built long after Muhammad’s death and there has never been any indication of the exact spot where Muhammad tied his half woman/half horse burruq. The temple had long before then been destroyed by the Roman General Titus.
This finding has actually disproved that the Jewish ownership of that site is impeccable.
It was due to bad work of the Roman emperor and his Christian armies trying to attack the Muslim state at Madinah that the Romans lost all the land including Jerusalem. Muslims did not want to attack any one. Jerusalem was taken over peacefully by Hazrat Umar Rz.a. without any fight or bloodshed.
The Shia scholars have reported that the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.s. was in the home of Umm e Haani on the night of his ascension to heavens. Sunni teachers have denied that. There is no truth in the prophet sleeping in bed with any lady while he was married person with children in Makkah. The words of namelee are clear blasphemous.
The temple belonged to Jews. Then belonged to Romans. wailing wall also belongs to some one. After Romans the place belonged to Muslims. It now belongs to Jewish state and it has become controversial.
Islam started with Adam a.s. All prophets including Moses, king David and Sulaiman and Jesus a.s. were practicing and preaching Isalm. i.e. being peaceful and the worship of One God.
There’s ambiguity in the first paragraph and hence Namelee’s allegation about King Solomon.
First, to inform Namelee – ALL PROPHETS are Muslim i.e. they bow to the Will Of Allah. Hence, if he’s talking about the Prophet king Solomon of the Jews, then, he was a Muslim bowing to the Will of Allah and His Messenger.
Alternatively, if the first paragraph is talking of Sulaiman the Magnificent, then he was not a prophet but a Great Muslim king of Palestine.
So, which of the two Solomons is the article talking about?
